Corporate Staffing Service is recruiting an experienced Accountant for a client operating in the transport and logistics sector in Nairobi. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of KSH 80,000–100,000 per month. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and supporting management decisions through financial analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain all accounting transactions in the general ledger with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and external stakeholders.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier invoices, and customer accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support planning activities.
• Coordinate with internal audit teams and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
• Monitor adherence to accounting standards (IFRS), company policies, and tax regulations.
• Provide financial data and analysis to management to support operational and strategic decisions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• CPA(K) qualification or equivalent professional accounting certification.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on accounting experience in a relevant role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Kenyan tax legislation.
• Proficiency in accounting software platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to communicate financial information clearly.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail in all work.
