Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to their tables with courtesy and direct them to their seating area

• Deliver dishes and beverages promptly and with proper technique
• Respond to menu inquiries and suggest items based on guest preference
• Promote additional menu items and inform guests of daily specials to support revenue targets
• Demonstrate understanding of wine options and cocktail ingredients to guide guest selections
• Verify correct table setup and upkeep throughout each service period
• Handle financial transactions with precision and efficiency
• Work with kitchen and service teams to ensure consistent and coordinated operations
• Follow food hygiene and sanitation standards at all times
• Complete auxiliary duties including supply replenishment and dining area sanitation
• Address guest grievances and resolve complaints with composure and professionalism
• Support orientation of newly hired team members on service procedures and workplace policies
• Attend pre-service briefings to learn about menu updates, special events, and important guest information
• Comply with alcohol service regulations and promote responsible consumption practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proficiency in English with clear communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to deliver customer service with a courteous and collaborative approach
• Understanding of food service protocols and beverage handling techniques
• Capability to perform efficiently in a high-volume service setting
• Collaborative mindset with a constructive attitude toward team objectives
• Careful approach to food presentation and table arrangement
• Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments preferred
• Diploma or degree qualification in Hotel Management
• Food handling certification preferred
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
