Key Responsibilities
- Receive and register claims within the intake and processing systems, ensuring all documentation is captured accurately.
- Sort, examine, and validate claims before they proceed to the payment stage, flagging any inconsistencies or missing information.
- Classify and file data within the Claims Smart Indexing System, maintaining proper folder structure and metadata.
- Transfer received claims electronically to designated platforms and backend operational systems (BOBs) as required.
- Triage provider claims, queries, and Group Operation Procedure (GOP) requests within the Salesforce platform, directing them to the appropriate teams.
- Index and manage incoming provider claims and support departmental tasks, adhering to stipulated turnaround times (TATs).
- Monitor and coordinate the different channels through which claims arrive—email, fax, portal uploads, and manual submissions.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management to support departmental objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree from a recognized educational institution.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external providers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling numbers, dates, and policy references.
- Proficiency with multiple software systems and business applications relevant to claims and document management.
- Excellent organizational ability and time management skills, capable of managing competing priorities across multiple claims.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and in compliance with data protection standards.
- Comfortable processing large volumes of electronic documents without compromising quality.
