Maiyan Luxury Resort is a premium 4–5 star hospitality establishment seeking dedicated professionals to join its team across multiple departments. The organisation is currently recruiting for six distinct full-time roles in Nairobi. These Hotel positions offer the opportunity to work in a structured, guest-focused environment where professional standards are maintained across all service areas.

Open Positions

Chief Steward

• Oversee stewardship operations and maintain standards across all service areas
• Supervise steward and housekeeping teams to ensure efficient execution of duties
• Implement cleanliness protocols and quality assurance procedures throughout the resort

Front Office Officer

• Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and professionalism
• Respond to guest inquiries and coordinate room assignments and logistics
• Maintain front desk records and manage administrative functions during shifts

Public Area Attendant

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of common areas including lobbies, corridors, and recreational spaces
• Monitor public spaces and respond promptly to maintenance or cleaning needs
• Ensure all public areas meet resort standards at all times

Room Steward

• Clean and service guest rooms according to resort specifications and timelines
• Restock supplies and ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests
• Report maintenance issues or damage to supervisory staff

Gym Instructor

• Conduct fitness sessions and guide guests through equipment use and exercise routines
• Maintain gym facilities and ensure equipment is in safe working condition
• Keep records of guest fitness activities and preferences

Barman

• Prepare and serve beverages to guests in bars and restaurant settings
• Manage inventory and stock levels of spirits, wines, and mixers
• Maintain bar cleanliness and comply with health and safety regulations

General Requirements

• Minimum three years of work experience in a 4–5 star resort or hotel environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and guest service protocols
• Ability to work reliably within a structured, team-based setting
• Professional presentation and attention to detail in all assigned duties
