Key Duties Across Roles

  • Oversee daily restaurant and kitchen operations to ensure service standards and operational efficiency
  • Supervise and train staff across shifts, providing guidance on food safety, customer service, and procedural compliance
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to menu specifications and establishment standards
  • Manage customer interactions, seating arrangements, and reservation logistics in front-of-house roles
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene, equipment maintenance, and stock management across culinary stations
  • Execute food preparation techniques under the direction of senior culinary staff
  • Support bar operations through beverage preparation, inventory control, and customer service
  • Ensure dining areas, kitchen facilities, and back-of-house spaces maintain high cleanliness standards
  • Respond to customer needs and resolve service-related issues professionally and promptly

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in hospitality, catering, food and beverage management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health regulations applicable to food service
  • Ability to work shift patterns, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and restaurant standards specific to TGI Fridays operations
