Open Positions
Administrative Intern
- Handle daily office administrative tasks including document filing, archiving, and retrieval of study materials and records
- Prepare study documents, manage photocopying, printing, scanning, and distribution workflows
- Coordinate meeting schedules, training sessions, field activities, and prepare meeting minutes and attendance records
- Maintain office inventory logs, stationery supplies, and administrative tracking systems
Data Intern
- Assist in accurate entry of study data into electronic databases and data capture systems
- Verify data completeness and consistency across study records and Case Report Forms (CRFs)
- Support data cleaning, validation checks, and identification of discrepancies or missing information
- Maintain participant records, data logs, trackers, and file study documents for accessibility
Lab Intern
- Receive, label, process, and store biological specimens according to study protocols and standard operating procedures
- Prepare laboratory reagents, consumables, and materials; perform routine diagnostic tests and specimen packaging
- Maintain specimen logs, laboratory documentation, and ensure proper cold chain management and temperature monitoring
- Support equipment maintenance, calibration, inventory management, and biosafety waste disposal compliance
General Requirements
- Must be a Kenyan national below 30 years of age and have obtained a relevant final certificate from accredited institution
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, or related discipline)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer literacy
- Demonstrated understanding of office administration, records management, data entry, laboratory procedures, or biosafety practices depending on role
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy in work, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrate professional conduct
- Willingness to learn, accept guidance, and work effectively within a clinical research environment
