The Technical Support Representative at Solvo Global will work with both internal systems and external clients to guarantee GL stability, accurate reporting, and timely financial close cycles. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and maintain General Ledger system components across supported payroll engines.
- Identify and troubleshoot GL-related issues, including payroll errors that impact financial reporting.
- Monitor GL processing daily to verify data accuracy, completeness, and system integrity.
- Provide technical support for accounting close operations at daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
- Serve as the primary contact for GL incidents and client requests, managing these until full resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues to prevent future occurrences.
- Assist clients with GL file maintenance, including account updates and additions.
- Track, prioritize, and document all incidents and system changes through to completion.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Between 6 months and 1 year of hands-on experience in GL system support, configuration, or related technical roles in production settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of attention to detail.
- Solid analytical abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting technical problems methodically.
- Proven skill in managing multiple tasks simultaneously in demanding work environments.
- Competence in documenting issues, solutions, and processes clearly for internal and client records.
