What you will do:

  • Cultivate good relationships with the assigned dealerships to promote the sale of Watu Simu’s financing product to potential clients visiting the dealership.
  • Develop SWOT analysis of dealership accounts and present consultative approach reports on increasing the sales.
  • Study, monitor and analyze consumer trends to identify customer behavior and make recommendations on possible business improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with assigned dealerships to execute marketing activities, activation events and customer engagement campaigns to contribute to increased sales output.
  • Influence the payment cycle and settlement of payment by clients to keep Watu Simu’s financial records healthy.
  • Responsible for training the sales staff and agents at dealership shops on the sales process, required technical skills and key KYC details.
  • Timely documentation and reports of key sales metrics updates, planned sales activities, executed sales activities and operational feedback.
  • Determine point of sale marketing needs for assigned dealerships and pursue relevant channels to acquire merchandise deployment.
  • Acquire market feedback on Watu Simu’s impact and collate reports on competitor market activities and comparative analysis.
  • Address queries from the dealerships and their customers ensuring that they are channeled through the right escalation protocol for timely resolution of complex issues.
  • Provide timely follow up and feedback to customers and dealership complaints.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to channel the activities into the dealer accounts.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing or related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales, account management or related field preferably telecommunication or IT industry.
  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with various mobile phone models and phone issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of asset financing is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of integrity while managing business transactions.
  • Ability to quickly strike a rapport and build meaningful and lasting business relationships.
  • Strong sales and marketing skills with a focus on closing sales.
  • Good planning, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator (verbal and written).
  • A keen eye for detail
