Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming and professional service that guests will identify as ‘world class’.
- Build genuine relationships with guests through engaging conversations and authentic storytelling.
- Provide service excellence in all types of meal service including buffet, plated, and silver service, both in terms of serving and clearing.
- Make all standard cocktails/mocktails and use creativity to create new ones.
- Recommend wines based on meal and guest preferences.
- Set up and clear spectacular bush events including sundowner, bush lunch, river dinner, and other ad hoc events.
- Take care of company assets and notify superiors of any damages or issues through the preventative maintenance procedure.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a waiter role within a luxury hospitality establishment.
- Must have a Hospitality or F&B Service certification/diploma from a recognised educational facility or equivalent experience.
- Required to have knowledge of world-class, international cuisines and beverage service standards and procedures.
- Has high level of spoken, written, and understanding in English.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good teamwork ability and a collaborative attitude towards colleagues.
