JOB SUMMARY
- To effectively handle customer transactions over the counter by delivering excellent client service and maximizing client solutions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Receiving and counting working cash at beginning and end of shift
- Accepting cash and cheques for deposits and check accuracy of deposit slip
- Processing cash withdrawals
- Performing specialized tasks such as updating daily journals, attend to customers diligently, and doing random checks on notes validity
- Recording all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with SACCO procedures
- Balancing cash and cheques in cash drawer at end of each shift
- Answering inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products
- Performing any other duties that may be assigned.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Academic Qualifications
- Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (C) Plain
- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field.
- CPA an added advantage
- Age 28 – 35 years
Experience:
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar position
