key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide lifeguard services to the swimming pool users
- Provide swimming lessons to new users
- Monitor pool area to ensure safety and compliance with the rules and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of pool area, including restrooms and showers
- Perform routine maintenance on pool equipment and report any issues to management
- Monitoring pool chemistry levels to ensure that they are within safe limits of chemical elements such as chlorine and pH levels
- Monitoring water quality by testing the pH balance, chlorine levels, and other chemical conditions
- Provide optimal level of services to all guests and residents and enforce compliance with facility policies
- Monitor inventory of all pool tools and maintain the adequacy of the same
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with residents and ensure compliance with all safety programs and policies of the pool area
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, including answering questions and addressing concerns
Qualifications
- Prior one year experience or more working as a pool attendant/lifeguard
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- LifeGuard Certification will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 will be an added advantage
- Friendly outgoing personality
