QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working as a nanny or childcare provider.
  • Certification in early childhood education, childcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for children.
  • The nanny should have good experience with toddlers and newborns.
  • Should have basic first aid skills and an excellent cook.
  • Should have good education in interacting with kids.
  • Should be active and creative.
  • Driving skills and a valid driving license is an added advantage.
  • Should be flexible and open to travelling anytime.
  • International passport is an added advantage or ready to have a passport.
  • Should be self-driven.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Childcare: Provide attentive and nurturing care to the children in accordance with the family’s values and preferences.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, both indoors and outdoors. Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures as needed.
  • Daily Routine: Develop and maintain a structured daily routine that includes meals, naps, playtime, educational activities, and other appropriate experiences.
  • Education and Development: Create stimulating and enriching activities that support the children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
  • Nutrition: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children in accordance with dietary preferences and restrictions. Encourage healthy eating habits and model positive food choices.
  • Hygiene and Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care routines as needed. Teach and encourage good hygiene practices.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the children’s care, such as tidying up play areas, doing children’s laundry, and washing dishes used during childcare hours.
  • Communication: Maintain open and proactive communication with the parents regarding the children’s daily activities, achievements, challenges, and any concerns that may arise.
  • Transportation: Safely transport the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, playdates, and other outings as needed.
  • Behavior Management: Use positive reinforcement techniques and appropriate discipline strategies to encourage positive behavior and teach important life skills.
