We are in search of an individual to take on the role of managing customer accounts in the regions of Mt Kenya and Coast. Your primary focus will be collaborating with customers to deliver value, which entails traveling to various locations within your designated area. Your responsibilities will encompass promoting and selling our products or services on credit to potential customers, as well as aiding in the collection of repayments.
Reporting to the Area Coordinator, you’ll receive guidance in formulating strategies to enhance the lives of farmers within your operational domain.
- Surpass sales and repayment objectives within your territory.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using our sales apps and diligently follow up with clients.
- Work in tandem with team members to devise effective sales strategies and uphold a comprehensive understanding of our offerings. Market Research:
- Identify potential customers through thorough market research and analysis of sales data.
- Develop an understanding of market trends and competitors. Customer Service:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Initiate phone calls to prospective clients to arrange appointments and deliver sales presentations. Repayments:
- Conduct regular visits to farmers to collect repayments, provide training, distribute materials, and offer support as per Tupande’s processes.
- Travel to client locations to showcase products or services and finalize sales. Training:
- Provide training to farmers and facilitators on contemporary planting techniques.

While we seek general qualifications across all roles, this specific position requires the following:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Experience in sales.
- Willingness to work in rural communities with small-scale farmers, including frequent travel to clients.
- Proficiency in following simple checklists and work plans.
- Fluency in the local language and familiarity with the local geography.
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite, tablets, and sales software.
