Brief Description
To ensure regulatory compliance as per KCAA, ICAO, IATA and Fuel Emissions trading schemes.
To manage aircraft fuel consumption, ensure efficient aircraft fuel usage for optimal efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, and minimize/reduce fuel consumption for optimal efficiency.
Detailed Description
Principal Accountabilities (Responsibility)
- Preparation and Support of Fuel Purchase Volumes.
- Fuel Schedule Preparation and Supplier Management.
- Aircraftburn-rates reporting for fleet and flight operations planning.
- Track and collateral fuel data and records for Emissions Reporting Schemes, MRV and offset compliance cycles.
- Liaise with the regulators and verifiers for accurate and timely data submission, verification,and certification of Carbon Emissions.
- Fuel consumption monitoring using FMIS availed.
- Tracking and reporting of various inflight and on-ground fuel-saving initiatives.
- Tracking fuel uplift figures for budgetary purpose.
- Maintain databases for all fuel reports used to support the business decision-making process.
- Conduct Fuel Inspections and IFQP audits.
- Coordinating fuel planning with Flight Dispatch and the Flight Deck Crew.
Job Requirements
Qualification (Minimum)
- University graduate
- Flight Crew CPL or Flight Dispatch License
Additional Qualifications
- Conversant with KQ commercial activities and processes.
- Strong Accounting/Finance knowledge
Years of Experience (Minimum)
- Two (2) years relevant experience
