RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond in a timely manner to customers issues within the stipulated SLA
  • Offer on demand immediate technical support to customers, shop sales team and the sales support agents
  • Work collaboratively with system developers to identify and fix emerging system issues
  • Identify and automate repetitive day to day tasks to ensure systems support efficiency
  • Extract and share system reports as requested by various departments
  • Perform minor development work as assigned by IT manager from time to time
  • Monitor Onfon Mobile IT systems to ensure 99.99% service uptime for excellent service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer science or related field
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate
  • Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming concepts e.g. Python, Javascript, Node
  • Proficiency in Database Management Systems particularly MySQL
  • Proficiency in Linux systems administration
  • Ability to offer IT support to tech users
  • Self driven and proactive
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Proficiency in Amharic and English languages
