The Fuel Data Officer intern will play a vital role in spearheading fuel-related initiatives and cost-cutting measures pertaining to Jet Fuel Consumption within the organization. This role will also focus on enhancing the availability of Data and Information to support strategic decision-making related to Jet Fuel Consumption.
In-Depth Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a comprehensive aircraft fuel burn database.
- Gather data on fuel initiatives, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with fuel suppliers to ensure timely service delivery.
- Continuously enhance the database for aircraft fuel consumption, offering statistical insights to reduce operational costs for KQ.
- Contribute to environmental and sustainability projects related to fuel within the organization.
- Assist in miscellaneous tasks as required.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with Jet Fuel Operations, Flight Planning Procedures, and Flight Data Analysis.
- Competence in analytical tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of the Jet Fuel Industry and Market.
Experience:
- At least a B plain in KCSE.
- A minimum of 6 months in Flight Dispatch Planning and Operations.
- Background in Jet Fuel Contracting, Pricing, and Operations is a plus.
