We are looking for someone with mid-level experience in financial accounting to support the finance team. As a financial accountant, you shall be expected to support DHL Supply Chain, Kenya in providing Financial, Audit, and Tax leadership for the country.

About The Role Key Duties And Responsibilities

This is a support position to the DHL Supply Chain Kenya Finance in providing Financial, Audit, and Tax leadership for the country.
Responsible for the country’s Financial Accounting Ledger Reporting and Reconciliations.
Adherence to tax laws, Ledger reconciliation, and preparation of tax returns.
Responsible for Tax Administration, including payments.
Support the Finance Manager with Internal Controls.
Adherence to group financial reporting guidelines.
Training the finance team on group financial reporting.
Working Capital Management, External & internal audit coordination.
Drive compliance awareness in the country.
Ensure Compliance with all Local statutory accounting rules and regulations, Group Accounting policies and procedures, and other Compliance driven policies and procedures.
East Africa Treasury Management, Bank reconciliations, Co-ordinating with SSC on timely Billing, allocation of collections, and timely payments of suppliers and cash flow management.
Responsible for Country Balance sheet reconciliations as per Group guidelines, IFRS, and Local GAAP.
Tax Management for Kenya.
Custodian of Finance SOPs, ensure regular revision to adapt to the current operating environment.
