Digital & Telesales Executive

Nairobi Inland Cargo Terminal (NICT) is looking for a tech-savvy individual who will work towards increasing digital sales, lead generation, brand engagement, and conversions.
Duties:
- Data mining: work closely with the commercial team to extract the list of potential customers, profiling them (potential basket value) and scheduling calls
- Outbound sales pitching: contacting target customers to introduce them to our CFS solutions. Keeping records of the calls and sales pitches for insights
- Customer profiling: asking questions to understand customer needs, while answering any questions from the customers to find a mutual solution
- Client visits (where the phone engagement necessitates a follow-up visit) to close the sale
- Account management: handling and closing grievances from customers within your portfolio, to preserve the company’s reputation
- Assist in the crafting of initiatives to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
- Prepare online content and ensure scheduled distribution through various channels
- Analytics and insights: monitor the company’s digital presence, growth in numbers, and trends on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc.) and generate relevant reports using web analytics tools
- Take the lead in scaling SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.) to achieve enhanced brand presence
- Foster good relationships with agencies and vendors strategically positioned to support our brand and commercial success
- Â Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements and skills
- Degree or Diploma in a business-related course
- Minimum 2 years experience in telesales and social media platforms management
- Experience in the logistics space will be an added advantage
- Aggressive sales pitching and closure skills
- Experience with B2C social media, Google AdWords, email campaigns and SEO
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of social media scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and others.
- Outstanding brand awareness experience will be an advantage.
