Responsibilities:
- Generate sales in accordance with the organization’s goals.
- Construct sales pitches and presentations.
- Learn and provide detailed information to consumers about the technical specifications of computer hardware/software offered by the company.
- Plan and organize an aggressive personal sales strategy to meet sales targets.
- Advise customers on technical matters and recommend appropriate computer configurations.
- Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems.
- Conduct detailed market research on consumer and product trends.
- Supply management with oral and written reports.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 months of experience in computer sales or IT-related business in a known, traceable, and existing business.
- Minimum of a Diploma or professional papers (KNEC, KASNEB, NITA, City & Guilds) in business, marketing, customer service, accounts, teaching, IT, or related field.
- Competency in ICDL (Microsoft Office) apps, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and team members.
- A commitment to excellent customer service and basic workplace etiquette.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and quickly make necessary adjustments.
