Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identification and registration of potential participants
  • Ensure consistent implementation of the research protocol over time
  • Schedule participants for follow-ups
  • Complete study forms accurately & completely
  • Ensure s/he has the requisite supplies in good time
  • Ensure specimens for transfer to the County laboratory are properly tracked and transported in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the entire research team to resolve problems/queries
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive research information
  • Participate in monthly program meetings
  • Must be able to relate well with MOH staff and CHVs and the community
  • Perform any other duties assigned/delegated by the study management.

Vacancy Requirements:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ and above or its equivalent from a recognized institution    Mandatory
  • Proficiency in computer application    Mandatory
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili    Mandatory
  • Experience in electronic data collection e.g. smartphone, tablets    Mandatory
  • Be a resident or willing to live and work in the study area    Mandatory
  • Experience in working in a research /hospital setting is an added advantage    Added Advantage
  • Planning and Organization Skills    Mandatory
  • Communication Skills    Mandatory
  • Interpersonal Skills    Mandatory
  • Team player    Mandatory
