
KEMRI
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identification and registration of potential participants
- Ensure consistent implementation of the research protocol over time
- Schedule participants for follow-ups
- Complete study forms accurately & completely
- Ensure s/he has the requisite supplies in good time
- Ensure specimens for transfer to the County laboratory are properly tracked and transported in a timely manner
- Work closely with the entire research team to resolve problems/queries
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive research information
- Participate in monthly program meetings
- Must be able to relate well with MOH staff and CHVs and the community
- Perform any other duties assigned/delegated by the study management.
Vacancy Requirements:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ and above or its equivalent from a recognized institution   Mandatory
- Proficiency in computer application   Mandatory
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili   Mandatory
- Experience in electronic data collection e.g. smartphone, tablets   Mandatory
- Be a resident or willing to live and work in the study area   Mandatory
- Experience in working in a research /hospital setting is an added advantage   Added Advantage
- Planning and Organization Skills   Mandatory
- Communication Skills   Mandatory
- Interpersonal Skills   Mandatory
- Team player   Mandatory
