KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Handle periodic management reports
- Management of accounts payables
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Assist in preparation of final accounts
- Check and assist on compliance with company policies in relation to financial operations
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Skills and Personal attribute
- Reporting Skills
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Able to handle tight deadlines
- Data Entry and information storage
- Analytical skills
- Kenyan Dynamic Tax Laws
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software’s
- MS Office Knowledge
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Experience in Bookkeeping
Academic and professional experience
- Minimum three (2) years’ experience in a busy accounting environment
- CPA 2 and above Certification
