DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To reconcile all revenues collected on a daily basis and check balances against receipts
  • Create and store back-up documents for cancellation, dummy credit and journal upload activities.
  • Answer supplier queries on invoices &payments.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Reconciles Accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Verify invoices against contract terms and other agreements.
  • Maintain the vendor/supplier files and monitor the accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable information impacting upon the financial statements.
  • Provide timely and accurate monthly reports (revenue, accruals etc) and debtor analysis.
  • Reconciliation and ensuring that the accounts receivable management and outstanding debt balance analysis is accurate and maintained at acceptable levels.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of customer invoices for goods supplied &services rendered and that any billing queries are attended immediately and feedback given to customers.
  • Always monitor company accounts and its balances, in order to ensure payments and transactions are up to date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • CPA Part II or equivalent.
  • KSCE C+ with a C plain and above in math’s.
  • Minimum 3 years related working experience in the ‘Accounts function.
  • Must have used Navision software.
  • Must be honest and of high integrity.
  • Accurate, efficient and organized within daily responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.

Location – Nairobi (Kikuyu)

Salary: Ksh 50,000-55,000
