Position Overview

We are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the agency, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. He or She will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide timely financial insights that support strategic decision-making

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Handle accounts payables and receivables, including client invoicing and supplier payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Process payroll and statutory deductions in compliance with local regulations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
  • Monitor project budgets and report on financial performance.
  • Maintain and update financial systems and software.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum qualification -CPA Section 4
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within a marketing, communications, or creative agency.
  • Proficiency in accounting softwares and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
