Position Overview
We are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the agency, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. He or She will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide timely financial insights that support strategic decision-making
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Handle accounts payables and receivables, including client invoicing and supplier payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Process payroll and statutory deductions in compliance with local regulations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
- Monitor project budgets and report on financial performance.
- Maintain and update financial systems and software.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum qualification -CPA Section 4
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within a marketing, communications, or creative agency.
- Proficiency in accounting softwares and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
