Data Analyst – CEMA at University of Nairobi – University of Nairobi Kenya Job Details
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields; Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
- Master’s degree in any of the following fields; Statistical Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in data analysis, data quality review, and data visualization.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated experience working with complex health datasets, with a strong focus on data cleaning, validation, and quality control.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and exploratory data analysis techniques.
- Strong skills in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports (please provide links to examples or portfolios).
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in statistical and programming software such as R, Python, SQL, or similar.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a collaborative work environment.
