The individual in this role will be responsible for a wide range of legal and administrative tasks, primarily focused on land and entity registration. Key duties include reviewing legal documents for accuracy before submission to relevant registries, managing both physical and digital files, and handling stamp duty assessment and payments. They will be the primary liaison with clients and registries, providing regular updates, status reports, and reminders on compliance matters like annual returns.
Qualifications, Experience, and knowledge:
- Diploma in Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies from a reputable institution in Kenya.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a busy law firm as a commercial clerk.
- CS certification is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
