We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role involves handling, processing, and updating company data to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, scanners, or other tools.
- Enter data provided directly by customers.
- Create spreadsheets with large datasets while ensuring zero errors.
- Verify accuracy of data by cross-checking with source documents.
- Update existing records accurately and promptly.
- Retrieve information from databases or electronic files when requested.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data security.
- Organize and store paperwork after data entry to prevent data loss.
Key Outputs/Deliverables:
- Accurate and timely daily cash flow reports.
- Prompt processing of client payments upon invoice receipt.
- Safe and organized document storage for easy retrieval during audits.
- Compliance with the company’s finance and accounting policies.
- Timely posting of transactions in the financial management system.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Certificate with an overall C+ grade.
- C+ or above in Mathematics.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with data entry software.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data without errors.
