We are seeking a dedicated and skilled a driver to join our team at a manufacturing company in Nairobi Kenya.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
• Performing daily checks to ensure vehicle is always in sound condition
• Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
• Ensuring that the vehicle have sufficient fuel and is always ready for use.
• Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary
• Perform any other relevant duty that might be assigned from time to time

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Five years driving experience on 4X4 vehicles on challenging terrain
• Familiar with basic vehicle maintenance
• Experience driving senior managers
• At least O-level certificate
• Valid driving license
• Possession of a defensive driving certificate an added advantage
• Good planner
• Excellent oral and writing communication skills
• Preferably from Western Kenya
