Assistant Administrator – Campus Services (Town Campus)-KCA University – KCA University Kenya Job Details

Position Objective:

KCA University is in search of an internal candidate to fulfill the following role: Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and inquiries from potential students in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Review and manage incoming applications, guiding students through the admission process.
  • Accurately input student data into the ERP system and ensure timely updates when necessary.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders including high schools, colleges, and recruitment agencies.
  • Provide clear information to prospective students about application procedures and campus life.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of student information, telephone logs, and student feedback for generating reports.
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of stationery to different departments, including providing necessary teaching materials for lecturers.
  • Share departmental reports with supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Implement creative communication and recruitment strategies following university guidelines.
  • Assist in training student engagement program (SEP) participants and work-study students.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Business, IT, or related fields from a recognized university.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Office Administration, Marketing, Customer Care, or related roles.

Other Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with university programs and admission prerequisites.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and working with databases.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
