About the Role

Desley Holdings is recruiting a Field Sales Representative-Nakuru to drive sales of dairy equipment across the Nakuru region. This is a full-time position based in Nakuru, working for one of Kenya’s established suppliers of dairy machinery and processing equipment. The company has operated since 1994, serving government institutions, NGOs, private businesses, and individual dairy farmers with a comprehensive range of equipment and after-sales support.

In this Sales & Marketing role in Nakuru, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting Desley Holdings’ product range to the dairy farming and processing sector. The position offers commission-based compensation plus travel allowance, with a flexible working environment that values independent initiative and results.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers within the dairy farming and dairy processing industries across the Nakuru territory
• Present and demonstrate dairy equipment products including milking machines, pasteurisers, homogenizers, fill and seal machines, generators, pumps, and cream separators
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to support repeat business and customer retention
• Conduct site visits and needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate equipment solutions
• Prepare quotations and negotiate sales terms with clients
• Report on market feedback, competitive activity, and sales progress to management
• Coordinate with the technical and service teams to ensure smooth equipment delivery and installation
• Travel within the Nakuru region to meet clients and conduct field demonstrations

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, BSc, or HND qualification
• Prior experience selling dairy equipment is mandatory for this Field Sales Representative-Nakuru position
• Demonstrated knowledge of dairy farming practices and dairy processing operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid Kenya driver’s license is advantageous
• Willingness to travel regularly within the sales territory
• Existing contacts or relationships within the dairy sector are beneficial
