About the Role

The Coca-Cola Company is recruiting an Employer Branding Specialist to lead the development and execution of employer brand strategies that position the organisation as a preferred employer in the region. This is a full-time role based in Nairobi, reporting to the Human Resources leadership team. The successful candidate will drive initiatives across talent acquisition, internal communications, and brand positioning to attract and retain high-performing professionals.

Employer branding has become central to talent acquisition success in Sales & Marketing jobs in Kenya and across the beverage and FMCG sector. In this position, you will shape how The Coca-Cola Company is perceived as an employer, translating business objectives into compelling narratives that resonate with both current and prospective employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and roll out a comprehensive employer branding strategy that aligns with business growth targets and talent acquisition priorities, with clear metrics for success.
  • Define, test, and refine the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) through market research, competitor benchmarking, and internal stakeholder input.
  • Produce engaging content that showcases workplace culture and employee experiences—including employee testimonials, wellness initiatives, and career development stories—for use across digital and recruitment channels.
  • Oversee the company’s social media presence and online employer brand visibility to ensure consistent messaging and professional representation.
  • Plan, budget, and execute recruitment marketing campaigns designed to attract diverse talent pools and improve application quality.
  • Partner with People & Culture Business Partners to map the candidate journey, identify friction points, and enhance experience at every recruitment touchpoint.
  • Gather and analyse candidate feedback through surveys and application data to inform continuous improvements to the recruitment process.
  • Support employee advocacy initiatives that equip staff to represent the company authentically across their professional networks and social channels.
  • Manage the HR events calendar, including recruitment fairs, university visits, and employer of choice forums such as the Top Employer and FKE Employer of the Year awards.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with universities, industry associations, and professional networks to expand the candidate pipeline and strengthen the employer brand.
  • Track employer branding performance through application rates, engagement metrics, and brand perception studies, delivering regular insights to leadership.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, talent acquisition, or corporate communications.
  • Proven track record of developing and articulating a strong Employee Value Proposition and translating it into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Solid working knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content design tools; ability to brief creative teams and review campaign assets.
  • Competence in gathering, interpreting, and using data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and optimise campaign performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across departments and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, recruitment teams, communications, and external partners.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
  • Professional approach to confidential information and commitment to ethical recruitment practices.
