About the Role

Triply is recruiting a Client-Facing Account Executive to lead new business development and partnership expansion across the travel and hospitality sector. Based in Nairobi, this full-time position sits within the Sales & Marketing function and offers the chance to manage the complete sales cycle for a growing booking platform. You will be responsible for identifying qualified prospects, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating agreements, and ensuring seamless partner onboarding.

The Client-Facing Account Executive at Triply role demands someone with 5–7 years of B2B sales experience who understands how to build lasting client relationships and close complex deals. You’ll work across multiple customer segments including hotels, tour operators, airlines, and corporate travel buyers, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify new business opportunities within the hotel, tour operator, airline, and corporate travel sectors
  • Execute the full sales cycle from initial discovery conversations through to contract closure, account setup, and first transaction activation
  • Maintain and forecast pipeline activity using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility
  • Develop detailed product knowledge to deliver persuasive, customised demonstrations that address client needs
  • Work alongside marketing and product teams to feed back market intelligence and flag emerging growth possibilities
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets consistently
  • Coordinate with the customer success team on partner onboarding to drive engagement and retention
  • Attend industry conferences, trade exhibitions, and networking events to represent Triply and generate leads
  • Prepare and submit regular sales analytics and performance summaries to the sales leadership team

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably within travel, hospitality, SaaS, or related sectors
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing revenue targets over multiple quarters or years
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities with the capacity to establish credibility and trust quickly
  • Hands-on experience managing a complete sales process from lead identification through contract signature
  • Competence with CRM systems and comfort working with sales metrics and data
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to the pace and demands of a growing startup
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
