Based in Nairobi, KITUO operates across multiple departments including communications, human resources, finance, legal services, information technology, and psychosocial support.

KITUO is currently recruiting interns across seven key departments to support its mandate. These are contract-based internship positions open to recent graduates and final-year students holding a Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma, or equivalent qualification. Open Positions

Communication Intern

  • Support the development and dissemination of communications materials aligned with organisational messaging and outreach goals
  • Assist with media relations, social media content management, and public-facing campaigns

Human Resources Intern

Legal Intern

Legal Assistant Intern

  • Provide administrative support to legal staff including case file management and document preparation
  • Assist with client intake, documentation, and case tracking systems
  • Support legal office operations and court-related administrative tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal practice standards

ICT Intern

  • Support information technology infrastructure, systems administration, and user support

Psychology Intern

  • Provide psychosocial support and counselling services under supervision

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma, or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
  • Current enrolment in a relevant final-year degree programme or recent graduate status
  • Strong organisational and communication skills suited to the specific internship field
