Job Summary

• Pearl Hospital is a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County. Guided by our values of Quality, Efficiency, Professionalism, and Compassion, we are seeking a cleaning company to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic hospital environment by following strict infection prevention and control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize hospital areas including wards, theatres, outpatient areas, offices, corridors and washrooms.
• Follow infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines at all times.
• Properly handle and dispose of medical and non-medical waste according to hospital policy.
• Replenish cleaning supplies.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Respond promptly to spills, especially biohazard spills.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, including use of PPE(Personal Protective Equipment)
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, beds and equipment regularly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Basic knowledge of infection control practices is an added advantage
• High level of integrity and professionalism
