Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the accurate management of inventory for mechanical and electrical spare parts.
- Ensure proper organization, storage, and labeling of spare parts and materials in the stores.
- Monitor stock levels, initiate restocking procedures, and track the movement of materials and parts.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receiving, issuing, and returns.
- Assist in conducting regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with the technical and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and materials needed for operations.
- Handle the preparation and delivery of spare parts and materials as required by different departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards when handling parts and materials.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and stock movements.
Key Attributes and Requirements:
- A certificate or Diploma in a technical field.
- Proven experience in stores or inventory management, preferably within a technical, mechanical, or electrical environment.
- A solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems and spare parts is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of inventory management software or Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies in stock records.
