Terms Of Service: Five (5) years renewable contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Remuneration: Gross Salary Scale: Min. Kshs 212,141 – Max Kshs 325,753 p.m.

Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • For appointment to the position of Senior Legal Researcher, an applicant must have the following qualifications.
  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or its equivalent from a recognized university
  • Be an Advocate of the High Court with a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
  • Membership to Law Society of Kenya.
  • Proficiency in Computer applications.
  • A postgraduate diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law or an exemption by the Council of Legal Education or a equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution

Experience:

  • Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with at least four (4) years post – admission qualification.
