This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under direct supervision of a senior officer
Job Description
Duties and responsibilities at this level entail: –
- Reviewing and retrieving files for relevant action;
- Opening legal files;
- Photocopying file documents; and
- Filing contract and court documents.

- Responding to inquiries regarding specific cases;
- Facilitating payment of legal fees;
- Serving legal documents to clients and other stakeholders;
- Collaborating with the Senior Legal Assistant, monitoring all security documentation – Term and Expiry;
- Obtaining the Kenya Gazette weekly and perusing, preparing and submitting reports on any matter touching on the Authority
 Job Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
- Diploma in Paralegal studies or Administration (with bias in legal matters) from a recognized institution;
- A current Process Server Certificate or its equivalent qualifications;
- Proven proficiency in computer applications and
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
