Kentegra Pyrethrum Company Limited located in Nakuru is urgently seeking to recruit Caretaker/Office Assistant.

The Key Responsibilities for this role:-

  • Ensure office safety by preventing unauthorized entry of people into the building.
  • Register the particulars of all visitors going in and out of the building.
  • Record every incident that occurs in the building e.g. breakdown, power failure, water leakage and notify the supervisor for appropriate follow-up and action.
  • Report any defect found in any part of the building e.g. ceilings, doors, walls and report the defects to the supervisor immediately for immediate repair and action.
  • Check and ensure the gate, doors and windows are locked when the office is not in use. Open the office in the morning and lock at the end of day.
  • Keeping an inventory of office supplies and order new supplies when needed. Keep a record of dispatched and received goods.
  • Maintaining files of the inventory and materials received and dispatched from the building.
  • Welcoming and directing visitors to the office.
  • Taking and delivering items/goods to G4S for dispatch to various destination as assigned.
  • Organize and clean the offices.
  • Prepare beverages for the employees and visitors in the office.
  • Supervise casuals during loading and offloading of goods and materials in office
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor and the management.

Qualifications, Experience and skills required for this role:-

  • Diploma in a Business related field from a reputable College/Institution.
  • One year Proven experience in a busy organization.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Trainable and Dynamic person.
  • A person with high level of Integrity.
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.
  • Good in record keeping skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
