Public Service Commission Jobs 2026
For appointment to this position, a candidate must:
- be a citizen of Kenya;
- hold a degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
- have had at least seven (7) years experience in the public service;
- have had a distinguished career in his/her respective field; and
- meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Method of Application
The names of shortlisted candidates for each post shall be published on the Commission’s website;
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to present originals of the following documents during the interviews;
- National Identity Card;
- Academic and Professional Certificates and transcripts;
- Any other supporting documents and testimonials; and
- Current and valid clearances from the following bodies:
- Kenya Revenue Authority;
- Ethic and Anti-Corruption Commission
- Higher Education Loans Board;
- Any of the Registered Credit Reference Bureaus;
- Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance Certificate);
- Letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission of University Education (CUE) for any degree obtained from foreign universities; and
- Recommendations from relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
- The salary and benefits for these positions shall be determined by the Cabinet Secretary on the advice of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission; and
- The Chairperson and Members of the Board shall hold office for a period of three years but shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further term.
