Job Purpose
Perform high quality analytical services in an efficient effective manner as per the department quality management system.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all Laboratory processes/procedures in accordance with ISO 15189, quality management systems.
- Familiarize and be updated with the requirements of all QMS implemented in the laboratory.
- Observe/comply with Health, Safety, and security requirements in the laboratory.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the laboratory manager or designee.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- BSc or Higher national Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with 2 years’ work experience.
- Registered by KMLTTB with a valid practicing license.
- Phlebotomy training will be an added advantage.
- Training and implementation ISO 15189 QMS will be an added advantage.
Skills and CompetenciesÂ
- Computer literacy.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
- Have good customer care skill/ experience.
- A good team player.
- Must be able to work in all laboratory sections.
- Integrity, truthfulness, and capability of using both hands.
- Willingness to learn complicated tests and develop in the career path.
