Brief Description
The candidate will Carry out all assigned paint tasks on aircraft structure and components for all KQ fleet & third-party operators and perform certification within company regulations at an optimized cost for the business whilst upholding high maintenance schedule integrity.
Detailed Description
Principal Accountabilities(Responsibility)
- Carry out aircraft structure and component painting for optimal TAT to ensure continuous availability of serviceable aircraft that meets required standards under supervision.
- Carry out aircraft placards fabrication and replacements.
- Operate & maintain MRO section motorized equipment as per company procedures.
- Adhere to the company safety, health & environment policy to maintain company safety records, report incidents/accident occurrences as per company procedures to maintain our safety standards, carry out 5s audits, first aid & fire marshaling drills.
- Carry out security checks as per engineering security document annex8 to maintain our security standards.
- Undertaking such other duties as may be reasonably requested by Paint Workshop supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualification(Minimum)
- ‘O’ level certificate/ KCSE C plain.
- Grade III trade test.
- Certificates in Paint vendor Trainings.
- An Engineering Diploma will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years Paint experience in a reputable organization.
- Has attended Health and Safety training and has put into practice in day-to-day work.
