Responsibilities
- Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
- Supporting accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the expenses and gathering appropriate approvals
- Updating financial records via accounting software
- Monitor and resolve bank issues and discrepancies
- Updating bank transactions in accounting software
- Prepare analysis of accounts requested
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheets accounts
- Monthly closing support, as needed
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist with year-end closings
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must be experienced with Quickbooks
- Experience working with other ERP systems a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Technical proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles preferred; not required
- Able to work independently and take ownership of deliverables and deadlines
- Extremely detail oriented with exceptional analytical and accounting skills
- Must have strong working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, sorting, v-lookups)
- A demonstrated history of success in developing process and achieving project/task deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
