To plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and CRE in line with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) for Junior Secondary School learners, while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Job Description

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and CRE
  • Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials in line with CBC requirements
  • Assess, evaluate, and monitor learners’ academic progress
  • Maintain accurate student records and reports
  • Create a conducive learning environment that promotes discipline and active participation
  • Participate in co-curricular and school development activities
  • Collaborate with other staff to support overall student development

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree  in Education with specialization in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and/or CRE
  • Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
  • Proven experience teaching at Junior Secondary  level is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of CBC curriculum
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
