To plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and CRE in line with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) for Junior Secondary School learners, while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Job Description
- Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and CRE
- Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials in line with CBC requirements
- Assess, evaluate, and monitor learners’ academic progress
- Maintain accurate student records and reports
- Create a conducive learning environment that promotes discipline and active participation
- Participate in co-curricular and school development activities
- Collaborate with other staff to support overall student development
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education with specialization in Kiswahili, Social Studies, and/or CRE
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
- Proven experience teaching at Junior Secondary level is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of CBC curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
