ICT Officer I – 4 Posts at Nairobi City County Public Service Board

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any other ICT related discipline from a recognized Institution;
• Served in the grade of Assistant Information Communication Technology Officer II or in an equivalent and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum of three (3) years
• Possess a Professional Certification in Information Technology or other related disciplines from a recognized certifying body;
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Job Description

• Monitor networks, information systems, and applications for security incidents and events.
• Investigate incidents and respond to events in real time
• Write detailed incident response reports
• Install and operate encryption programs, and other security software
• Fix vulnerabilities
• Develop and promote best practices for networks and systems security
• Conduct threat research
• Perform periodic risk assessment and penetration tests
