Job Purpose: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern who will support the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. The role offers hands-on exposure to recruitment, employee relations, documentation, and HR processes while contributing to an efficient HR function.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in posting job adverts on various platforms.
  • Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews.
  • Support the shortlisting process.
  • Support in preparing HR letters i.e., contracts, confirmation letters, notices. 5. Help address employee inquiries by directing them to the HR Manager.
  • Prepare onboarding documentation i.e., offer letters, contracts, induction materials.
  • Participate in HR projects such as policy development, job descriptions, HR audits, and compliance support.
  • Assist in preparing HR proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain organized employee records and HR databases.
  • Participate in performance appraisals and tracking reviews.
  • Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports

Internship Details

  • Duration: 3 months
  • Remuneration: A monthly stipend will be provided (this is not a salaried position)

Minimum Qualifications.

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
