Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement group-wide HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company’s goals and culture.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of talent across all business units.
- Lead performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and handle employee relations matters professionally and discreetly.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and team leaders on HR best practices.
- Coordinate training and development programs to build skills and support career growth.
- Manage payroll oversight, compensation structures, and benefits administration.
- Monitor HR metrics and prepare regular reports for senior leadership, offering data-driven insights and recommendations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s or HR certification (CHRP, SHRM, etc.) is a plus.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 in a multi-unit or group-level role.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build systems and structure in a growing company.
- Experience in the hospitality or service industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
