Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting the Pilot in Command in operating aircraft safely from pre-flight to post-flight shutdown
- Ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, company procedures, and aircraft performance standards
- Monitoring flight conditions including weather, terrain, and navigation systems
- Conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks, ensuring aircraft readiness and documentation accuracy
- Managing flight logs, journey records, and operational documentation
- Assisting in emergency response and making critical safety decisions when required
- Supervising aircraft serviceability and coordinating maintenance activities when necessary
- Communicating effectively with crew members, ground staff, and flight operations teams
- Supporting passenger safety through safety briefings and adherence to emergency procedures
- Maintaining discipline, performance standards, and teamwork within the flight crew
- Ensuring cargo safety and compliance with loading regulations
- Continuously improving technical knowledge, aviation skills, and regulatory awareness
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant aviation training is an added advantage
- Valid Kenyan Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (Multi IR)
- Gas Turbine aircraft rating
- ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
- Minimum 500 flight hours
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations and flight operations
- Ability to work in high-pressure, dynamic flight environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Clean accident/incident record preferred
