College Librarian at Coast Institute of Technology – Coast Institute of Technology Kenya Job Details
Requirement For Appointment
- Be a Kenya citizen.
- Be in possession of a minimum grade of KCSE C-or its equivalent.
- Degree in Library and Information studies or its equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suites
DUTIES
- Cataloguing and classifying library material
- Maintaining and coordinating book selection with teaching department
- Provide feedback on selection made by teaching department
- Maintaining and distribution accession lists
- Registering and compiling user profiles
- Compiling journal holdings.
- Compiling user statistics.
- Charging and implementing fines on overdues, losses and damages
- Supervising of staff under the section.
