Call Center Agent (2 Positions)

Job Purpose:
The Call Center Agent will be the first point of contact for members and clients, handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing accurate information on SACCO products and services through phone, email, and other digital channels. This role is critical in ensuring excellent customer experience, timely communication, and increased member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Provide accurate information on SACCO products, services, and policies.
-
Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex cases to relevant departments.
-
Record all customer interactions in the SACCO’s CRM or call management system.
-
Follow up with members to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
-
Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and surveys through outbound calls.
-
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and comply with SACCO policies.

Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing customer feedback with management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Customer Service, or related field.

Experience in a call center, customer service, or front office is an added advantage.

Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili (verbal and written).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/customer service systems.

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
