Bancassurance Officer at Incredo Finance

Duties and responsibilities:

• Execution of day-to-day insurance operations, which entails new business development and cross-selling of insurance products, claims administration and documentation
• Timely follow-up on renewals to ensure business retentions that would otherwise lead to income leakages.
• Develop good working relationships with various Departments, working closely with branches, the business development & credit team to generate insurance business and leads through their customers.
• Ensure customer inquiries are resolved promptly as per laid-down policies and procedures.
• Champion insurance products training at the Branch level to sensitize both staff and customers on insurance products.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures in regard to Bancassurance business
• Providing timely and accurate quotations within the turnaround times.
• Gathering market intelligence to ensure updated product range.
• Identifying client needs and recommending suitable insurance solutions.

Knowledge; Skills and Experience required for this Role

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Computer literate and possessing excellent presentation skills.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Bancassuarance in a MFI.

Academic qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field.
  • Over 3 years’ experience in an MFI.
  • Professional membership by AKII
  • Understanding of and experience with Insurance products and processes
