Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in B-COM (Accounting, Finance,Economics) or a related field.
- Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA (K) or ACCA) is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting in a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and professional due care.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills..
- Ability to work well in a team and adaptable to fast pace work dynamics.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping, filing & petty cash management.
- Prepare budgets & cash flow as needed.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely supplier payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Cross functional communication with the broader team.
- Handle general administrative tasks related to the finance department.
- Facilitate cross cutting compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
